Job Summary:
A compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Support Specialist is sought by Five Star Quality Care, Inc. to provide exceptional support to our community's residents in Midlothian, VA. This role involves assisting with daily tasks, medication supervision, and providing emotional support to ensure the well-being of our residents.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will be responsible for helping residents with their daily needs, including personal hygiene, mobility, and eating assistance. You will also play a key role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide medication supervision and take vital signs as required
* Escort residents around the community and assist with mobility
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
* Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their loved ones
* Work collaboratively with the nursing staff to ensure resident care plans are met

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* Minimum 18 years old, or state-regulated age requirement
* Previous experience in caregiving or a related field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Pass State and company background checks and drug test

Estimated Salary:
$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience
