Job Title: Incident Response Analyst Job Summary: MartinFed is seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Analyst to join our team of talented professionals. As an Incident Response Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting incident response activities focused on containment, eradication, and recovery. You will work closely with customer stakeholders and forensics professionals to identify and mitigate security threats. Key Responsibilities: * Track, document, and report incidents from initial detection to final resolution in accordance with associated procedures and timelines. * Perform initial incident triage, containment, mitigation, and reporting in response to cyber incidents. * Analyze and correlate incident data to identify specific vulnerabilities and make recommendations for expeditious remediation. * Assist customers in responding to significant cyber incidents and provide oversight for this service. * Collaborate and coordinate with other Security Operations Center and Forensics Leads. Requirements: * United States Citizen with a DoD Secret Clearance or higher. * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. * At least 2 years of experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Security Operating Center (SOC), or LEO DF Unit. * Strong experience with Unix/Linux system administration and Windows system administration. * Strong experience analyzing various log formats and forensic tooling. * Knowledge of common host-based forensic artifacts and network architecture. * Experience with cloud-based investigations and scripting capabilities. * Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. * Deep knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS-X, and Linux Operating systems and associated file systems. * Experience with analyzing raw packet capture and Windows-based memory forensics. Work Environment: * Inside office environment. * Working on a computer for long periods of time. * May involve long periods of sitting at a desk. * Work must be performed on-site at NASA Armstrong Flight and Research Center.
