About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Walden Environmental Engineering, PLLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, performing business development, and mentoring junior staff.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an in-depth understanding of consulting in a civil/environmental engineering firm, and excellent communication skills. They will also have the ability to work independently and collectively with other staff, and be willing to work outside in all weather conditions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the liaison between Walden, our clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform business development work, such as writing proposals, cultivating leads, and pitching Walden services to existing or potential clients.
  • Work in close collaboration with other PMs and staff.
  • Assign staff work based on their strengths and individual goals.
  • Actively work on client projects.
Requirements
  • BS or MS in environmental or civil engineering.
  • At least 8 years of post-bachelor's experience.
  • A licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or in the process of obtaining the same.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office and Google Workspace. Ability to use AutoCAD a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to produce thorough reports with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Understanding of relevant Federal, State, and local regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collectively with other staff.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and 10-hour Construction Safety training.
