**Job Summary**
MercyOne is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist licensed practical nurses or registered nurses in gathering medical history information and taking vital signs.
- Document patient information for medical records, including vital signs, height, and weight.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff members with procedures when necessary.
- Transport patients safely using appropriate equipment.
- Assist with stocking and cleaning clinic equipment and supplies.
- Follow emergency procedures, including CPR when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of state-approved certified nursing assistant training program required.
- Current/valid state-issued Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, acceptable credentialing bodies include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS).
