Job Summary

The Warehouseperson position at Finning International is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of parts within our warehouse. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all shipments.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of all shipments, complete 3-way matches to purchase orders and vendor invoices, and monitor pending inbound and outbound orders.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Participate in annual cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning housekeeping standards, and perform daily inspections of tooling and small equipment.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Accurately sort and assign bin locations for incoming stock, identify and clean equipment parts and attachments prior to stocking, and perform minor assembly and refurbishment as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum grade 12 education
  • Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience considered an asset
  • Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift, and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG
  • A strong commitment to safety
