Job Summary

AmeriGas Propane, the nation's largest propane distributor, is seeking a safety-minded and customer-focused Delivery Representative in Gunnison, CO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering propane and filling tanks for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver propane to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Filling residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers
  • Perform daily functions in a safe manner, adhering to federal and state codes, and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A or B license
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
  • Minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Benefits
  • Hourly rate: $26, with overtime pay after 40 hours worked at time and a half
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus - $2,500 paid after 90 days and $2,500 paid after 1 year
  • Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales
  • Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly
  • All benefits with the exception of disability coverage are effective the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of employment
Work Environment
  • Home every night
  • Day shift schedule; shifts will be 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating needs
  • Working 6-day work weeks with 10-hour shifts and paid overtime
  • Working weekends and holidays
