Job Summary

AmeriGas Propane, the nation's largest propane distributor, has immediate openings for safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representatives in Gunnison, CO. As a Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
  • Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
  • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CDL A or B license
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Propane industry experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to load/unload 50-pound cylinders (up to 200/day) and pull 75-pound hoses that are 150 feet or more
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: $26.75 to $27.75
  • Average of 40-50 hours weekly
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours worked at time and a half
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus – $2,500 paid after 90 days and $2,500 paid after 1 year
  • $2,500 employee referral program
  • Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales
Work Environment

As a local Delivery Representative, you will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, delivering propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. You will be required to load and unload propane cylinders, and pull hoses that are 150 feet or more.
