Job Summary

AmeriGas Propane, the nation's largest propane distributor, is seeking a safety-minded and customer-focused Delivery Representative to join our team in Gunnison, CO. As a Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
  • Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
  • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CDL A or B license
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Propane industry experience is a plus
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: $26.75 to $27.75
  • Average of 40-50 hours weekly
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours worked at time and a half
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus - $2,500 paid after 90 days and $2,500 paid after 1 year
  • $2,500 employee referral program
  • Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales
Work Environment

This position will remain open for applications until 10/04/2024. The Delivery Representative will work in a fast-paced environment, delivering propane to customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.
