Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustics Trial Director to join our team at ManTech International Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading acoustic evaluations and ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acoustic Evaluation Planning: Develop and execute plans for acquiring and analyzing at-sea acoustic data.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of experts to completion of analysis and reporting of at-sea results and recommendations.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality in real-time and make informed decisions to adapt to changing evaluation objectives.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare written technical reports identifying emergent issues and collaborate with team members to present recommendations for remediation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Experience: Three years of hands-on experience with navigation and/or piloting safety working with U.S. Uniformed Services ships.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Five years of experience with both submarine and surface ship acoustics, including a thorough understanding of acoustic measurement systems and project management.
Security Clearance

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is required.

Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Physical Activity: Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Computer Use: Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
