ManTech International Corporation is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions for national security programs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Acoustics Trial Director to join our team in Bethesda, MD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct acquisition and analysis of at-sea acoustic evaluations.
  • Lead a team to completion of analysis and reporting of at-sea results and recommendations.
  • Ensure data quality in real-time and use personal judgment to determine the best path forward as evaluation objectives change.
  • Prepare written, technical reports that identify emergent issues and work with team members to present recommendations for remediation.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering or Physics.
  • Previous Officer of the Deck (OOD) underway or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years of hands-on, demonstrated experience with navigation and/or piloting safety working with U.S. Uniformed Services ships.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of experience with both submarine and surface ship acoustics, including a thorough understanding of acoustic measurement systems, in-water measurement arrays, and the interfacing of hardware and the development of software.
  • Possess an established, demonstrated track-record of project management and successful task completion, including coordinating U.S. Navy ship operations with a test and evaluation program agenda.
Security Clearance Requirements:

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
