About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and ensuring the effective ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency of the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
  • Provide an atmosphere conducive to gain the patient's cooperation and confidence.
  • Utilize data received from patient satisfaction and practice performance results to identify opportunities to improve and participate in the planning and improvement process.
  • Follow and support OSHA regulations and use universal precautions when required.
  • Work within a team to achieve patient and team goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required. 2 Year/Associate Degree Preferred Graduate of an accredited Radiology program - Required
  • 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography- RT(R) Required
