Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Dietitian Oncology to join our team at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Dietitian Oncology, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the highest level of licensure, credentials, and registrations, including licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Florida and registration as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive medical nutrition care plans for patients with various oncology conditions.
  • Providing accurate and timely nutrition screening, intervention, and comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest medical nutrition therapy guidelines and best practices.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of educational materials for patients and healthcare staff.
  • Representing nutrition care on relevant committees and serving as a knowledge resource for specialty areas.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registration as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Florida.
  • 0-2 years of experience in clinical dietetics, with a focus on oncology nutrition.
