Job Title: Registered Clinical Dietitian

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida is seeking a highly skilled Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our clinical nutrition department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain licensure, credentials, and registrations, including licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Florida and registration as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Develop and implement medical nutrition care plans, perform nutrition screening, intervention, and comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments following departmental policies and procedures.
  • Accurately calculate nutrient composition of enteral feedings and parenteral solutions, monitor, evaluate, modify, and document medical nutrition therapy following established policies and procedures.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and/or significant others regarding medical nutrition therapy as needed, develop and review educational materials for patients as needed.
  • Manage PI process, precept dietetic interns during clinical rotations, and verify accurate orders on the chart.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Licensed as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in the state of Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
  • Master's degree or internship through an accredited institution by The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
