Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
- Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports as needed, utilizing tools such as QuickBooks and Excel to analyze and present financial data.
- Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage the billing process, ensuring timely collection of payments and processing invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Payroll Processing: Assist with or manage the preparation and processing of weekly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
- Financial Analysis: Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, create budgets, and forecast future financial performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, with proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent attention to detail, and organizational skills.
