The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is dedicated to protecting children from abuse and neglect. We are seeking a skilled Grant Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Grant Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive grant strategy to secure funding for our programs. This role will involve researching and identifying government funding opportunities, writing grant applications, and managing post-award responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a grant strategy to secure funding for NYSPCC programs
  • Research and identify government funding opportunities relevant to NYSPCC programs
  • Write grant applications and manage post-award responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Research, Training, Clinical, and Fiscal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Monitor and execute grant close out, extension, or renewal as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of government grant writing experience
  • Knowledge of New York City and New York State government structure and granting agencies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to complete high-quality work independently
  • Excellent project management skills, with proactive communication style
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform to a high quality of work

Estimated Salary: $82,500 - $87,500 per year
