Leadership Opportunity in Regional Anesthesiology

Montefiore Medical Center seeks a Board-Certified fellowship-trained Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine physician to lead their growing practice.

The ideal candidate will have change management skills to mitigate challenges in a professional manner, while achieving the goals of the division.

The Division Director will provide scientific leadership and clinical oversight in a challenging environment.

This opportunity includes immediate leadership opportunities within the ACGME-accredited RAAPM fellowship program and division.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement perioperative training and didactics for fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Cover regional anesthesia cases and the RAAPM service.
  • Supervise CRNAs, fellows, and residents.
  • Establish a new regional service at the main campus.
  • Manage services across different campuses.
  • Recruit new faculty and fellows.
  • Support the Department's goals for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate flexibility in managing the service.

Requirements:

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
  • BC in Anesthesiology.
  • Completion of fellowship training in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine.
  • Minimum of five years of experience.
  • Eligible for New York Medical License.
  • Demonstration of leadership abilities.
