Position Summary
The Chief Operations Officer is accountable for the comprehensive performance of all organizational functions under their oversight. This role entails the execution of Company Policies and Procedures, Strategic Initiatives, and Quality Assurance Programs. The Chief Operations Officer will also enhance financial outcomes through exceptional service delivery acknowledged by both external and internal stakeholders. This position will furnish leadership support and resources to operations to achieve set objectives.

The Chief Operations Officer serves as a liaison with governmental entities and provider associations, functioning as a bridge between operations and the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Evaluate operational performance and support requirements with Executive Management.

2. Assess Operations and Branch Staff for alignment with, and promotion of, the organization's vision, mission, and values.

3. Lead all operations under their jurisdiction to optimize revenue and EBITDA.

4. Develop and implement corrective action plans to enhance the financial performance of operations not meeting financial benchmarks.

5. Participate in the formulation of annual budgets and operational strategies.

6. Provide operational teams with leadership support and resources to achieve established objectives.

7. Cultivate business relationships and drive sales to meet or exceed targets.

8. Review Sales Strategies and collaborate with the Corporate Sales Team on implementation tactics.

9. Identify potential growth avenues through service expansion.

10. Coordinate staff training on systems, standard procedures, company policies, and protocols.

11. Offer leadership support and guidance to operations facing performance challenges or administrative gaps by implementing standardized processes to enhance service delivery and outcomes.

12. Establish and maintain relationships, acting as a liaison between operations and the Executive Leadership Team.

13. Evaluate processes and performance metrics.

14. Effectively lead and allocate resources from the Core Team (Quality Assurance Manager, Human Resources Specialist, etc.) as necessary to support operations.

15. Assist with process implementation aimed at improving performance objectives.

16. Provide support and supervision to operations with Branch Manager vacancies.

17. Ensure each service location develops and fully executes a targeted recruitment and retention strategy in collaboration with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.

18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Business, or a related discipline; a Master's Degree is preferred.

- A minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating the ability to effectively manage operations, systems, processes, and personnel.

- At least three years of supervisory experience with a minimum of five direct reports.

- Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.

- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and public speaking proficiency.

- Experience in Home Care or a related healthcare sector is preferred.

- Proficient in technology and all Microsoft Office applications.

- Familiarity with Federal, State, and local regulations pertinent to the business area of responsibility.

- Outstanding Customer Service skills.

- Knowledge or prior experience working in an office environment with computers, telecommunication devices, and other related tasks.

- Willingness to travel 25-50% or as required.
