Job Description

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Technical Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading our team of engineers and technicians to design, develop, and launch reusable space vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of space vehicles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop project plans, and track progress.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Systems) or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on aerospace or defense.
  • Proven track record of leading successful projects from conception to delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Knowledge of space vehicle design, development, and testing.
  • Experience with configuration management and change control.
