Overview of the Role

The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring seamless daily operations of the accounting department, focusing on full-cycle accounting duties. This position is crucial to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial operations, including accounts receivable, billing, bank reconciliations, and preparing payables for check printing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage the complete accounting process, handling accounts receivable, billing, bank reconciliations, and preparing payables for check printing with a high degree of accuracy.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly financial reports for clients, ensuring all transactions are properly captured. Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes with a high degree of accuracy.
3. Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations, identifying and addressing any discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain balanced accounts.

Requirements and Qualifications
An Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role is also required. Proficiency in QuickBooks and AppFolio Property Management software (or a willingness to learn) is essential. Additionally, excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, strong communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy are necessary for this role.

Benefits
This opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $68,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The company provides a 401(k) plan with 3% matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave, and a referral program.
