Oates Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the integrity of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, including servers, daily backups, disaster recovery, and off-site storage.
- Manage and maintain over 100 workstations, including setup, imaging, and maintenance.
- Oversee electronic devices, including cell phones, tablets, and notebooks, with mobile VPN and remote access setup, updates, and maintenance.
- Manage software licensing, installation, and updates, and coordinate with project managers on needs, purchases, and renewals.
- Provide support for remote office connections and work-from-home setups, including VPN and LMI setup, maintenance, and user account management.
- Manage hardware and software service contracts and oversee maintenance for routers, firewalls, printers, and other equipment.
- Manage audio/visual and computer setup for conference rooms across multiple offices and provide support as needed for limited off-site meetings.
- Oversee the IT Help Desk with technical awareness and ability to solve technical issues.
- Develop and manage the IT budget and collaborate with project managers on budget items.
- Establish and enforce IT policies.
- 3 to 10+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or relevant field.
- Experience with VMware management, 365 management, and network administration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with forward-thinking ideas to leverage technology to drive innovation and efficiency for the company.
