Senior RF Antenna Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior RF Antenna Engineer to join our team at Antenna Research Associates Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing RF antenna systems, as well as experience in project management and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new RF antenna products, including front-end systems for RADAR, SATCOM, EW, MILCOM, and Communications applications.
- Lead multiple design projects to successfully deliver system products, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Provide technical supervision and guidance to junior engineers, as needed.
- Write technical proposals in response to RFPs, incorporating diverse specifications in RF (G/T, EIRP, AESA, PESA) and mechanical design processes.
- Create test requirements, ATP, and manuals for RF antenna systems.
- Design and implement systems engineering processes to ensure efficient and effective product development.
- Test and analyze RF antennas to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Support the manufacture of production antennas, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Provide customer support and technical assistance, as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or higher (MSEE or PhD preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in RF antenna design and development, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
- Experience with feedhorns, dual and quad ridge horns, arrays, RF front-end systems, AESA/PESA design, waveguide design, active electronic components, and simulation tools (HFSS, CST, TICRA, FEKO, AWR, or MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design processes and soldering techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
