The Environmental Services Aide/Laundry Technician is responsible for delivering cleaning services that ensure a hygienic and comfortable setting for residents, staff, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, sanitizing, scrubbing) in assigned resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established protocols.
  • Respect residents' privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement and personal belongings. Always knock before entering.
  • Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors in accordance with departmental procedures and cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure that housekeeping supplies are kept out of reach of residents at all times.
  • Dispose of trash and waste, including biohazardous materials, following facility policies and procedures.
  • Post safety hazard signs whenever housekeeping activities may pose risks to residents, staff, visitors, or others in the facility.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed.

**Qualifications**

  • Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Preferred one year of experience in a housekeeping role.
