Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide support during meals and assist with mobility to various activities.
  • Conduct regular check-ins on residents to assess their well-being.
  • Communicate any changes in residents' conditions to the supervising staff.
  • Respond promptly to calls for assistance within the health center.

Additional Duties:
  • Support medication management and compliance.
  • Facilitate meal service for residents.
  • Engage in ongoing assessments to encourage resident independence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Assist residents in scheduling medical appointments.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their families.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring residents.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk long distances and assist residents with mobility challenges. Must be capable of pushing wheelchairs and lifting up to 50 pounds. This role requires continuous standing, bending, and stretching throughout the workday.
