As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care to individuals with mental health needs. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including medication management, therapy, and education.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program required.
Current Michigan RN License (or completed by end of orientation) required.
Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider (or completed within 60 days of hire) required.
Prior experience in mental health or a related field preferred.
