Job Title: Quadient Document Specialist

At Taylor Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled Quadient Document Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing technical mailing functions, processing and maintaining records, and administering controls related to data planning and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement technical mailing functions for defined customer applications based on mailing job specifications.
  • Process and maintain records, statistics, and reports regarding mailing lists, postage costs, merging and batching operations.
  • Review and manipulate client data files and information flows for integration to digital print jobs.
  • Administer controls and document activities related to data planning and development, and establish policies and procedures for its management, security, maintenance, and utilization.
  • Modify, convert, and merge documents, organize and maintain databases, and sort, analyze, and process incoming/outgoing records, lists, and addresses.
  • Verify output against control totals, review format and accuracy of printouts, and distribute information to appropriate departments.
  • Follow standard work processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and support tools.
  • Propose and implement enhancements and automation to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Work with internal and external customers to improve data management offerings and provide current solutions to meet client needs.
  • Communicate key developments to stakeholders and assist team members with troubleshooting and issues.
  • Meet varying time schedules and have flexible scheduling capability.
  • Follow department Standard Work Documents, Department Standards, and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  • May lead other team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and relevant professional work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in programming and/or database management.
  • Advanced knowledge of variable data programs such as Quadient Inspire, HP Dialogue, and/or XMPie.
  • Advanced knowledge of postal software programs, such as Satori or BCC.
  • Understanding of data table structure, issues, design, and file management capabilities using Microsoft SQL.
  • Ability to understand and implement technical methodologies to leverage efficiencies in production areas.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to problem solve, follow-up, and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
  • Knowledge of domestic mail manual rates and regulations, especially at higher levels.
  • Experience with Quadient Inspire Automation, Quadient Inspire Online Approval, Quadient Content Manager (ICM), and Quadient Interactive is a must.
