Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of peripheral vascular systems for the diagnosis of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations of the vascular system, including Doppler and duplex studies.
  • Assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure and make appropriate physician contact for intervention.
  • Select appropriate equipment for use in ultrasound setup, following exam specifications.
  • Enter test data and patient information into computer of ultrasound equipment to maintain record of test results.
  • Produce images of internal structures and records diagnostic data.
  • Maintain accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
  • Appropriately utilize the functionality of the Epic system within their job responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Ultrasound Technician Certificate from accredited school.
  • BLS certification.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull force up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of AMA approved training program in ultrasonography.
  • Registered Vascular Tech.
