Essential Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline (such as Computer Science or Engineering) along with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the IT sector.
At least 7 years of experience in a project management role within IT.

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams comprising at least five members across various departments in the Utility sector, including Customer Service, Finance, and Operations.

Expertise in managing projects related to infrastructure, cybersecurity, and networking.
Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required.
Proficient in using MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite, and JIRA.
Familiarity with Project Portfolio Management principles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Experience in client-facing roles, whether internal or external.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, both internal and external.
Knowledge of system integration, software development processes, and methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
Experience in the implementation of ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP.
Strong capacity planning and resource management skills.
Proven ability to address and rectify at-risk projects while motivating team members.

Desirable Qualifications:

Familiarity with web-based project management tools (e.g., MS Project Server, Clarity).
Experience in collaborating with remote teams.
Knowledge of CMMI standards.
Previous experience in government or utility sectors is a plus.
ITIL foundations, CSM, or Prince2 certifications are advantageous.
Experience with automated testing tools for quality assurance (such as Load Runner or Rational) is beneficial.
