About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart Global Tech, you will be part of a dynamic Agile team that drives innovation and excellence in digital citizenship. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop full-stack applications using multiple technologies such as React JS, Java, Spring, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify short- and long-term goals, review and provide feedback on proposed solutions, and perform design and code reviews.
  • Design and develop efficient code to automate repetitive and manual tasks.
  • Maintain an unwavering focus on observability and ensure that everything can be measured.
  • Direct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development of highly scalable applications.
  • Experience working with micro-services architecture and distributed systems.
  • Passionate about reviewing code, expertise with automation tools, and strong customer focus and obsession with quality.
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies and experience in developing APIs using Java, Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or React Native.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
