Job Summary:

At Rocket Software, we're seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Global Business Applications team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing new features and functionality for our critical back office systems and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in Oracle EBS Technical Development, including SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and Workflow. Additionally, experience with Oracle EBS finance modules, such as Accounts Payables, Purchasing, Accounts Receivables, Inventory, and General Ledger, is highly desirable.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead the overall development and implementation for system enhancements, new features, and larger projects/initiatives. You'll also be responsible for making recommendations to enhance business applications and platforms, and for being well-versed in the software development lifecycle.

We're looking for a candidate who is a strong communicator, able to effectively communicate with a broad set of stakeholders. If you have 6-9 years of software engineering/application development experience, and experience as a developer or technical lead supporting a major systems implementation or initiative, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features and functionality for our critical back office systems and platforms
  • Lead the overall development and implementation for system enhancements, new features, and larger projects/initiatives
  • Make recommendations to enhance business applications and platforms
  • Be well-versed in the software development lifecycle
  • Communicate effectively with a broad set of stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years of software engineering/application development experience
  • Experience as a developer or technical lead supporting a major systems implementation or initiative
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
