Senior Software Engineer IOS Job Description

At Walmart, we're looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer IOS to join our team. As a key member of our software engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications for our IOS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced software applications for the IOS platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices
  • Develop innovative mobile technology solutions and strategies to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 5+ years of professional experience in various elements of full stack software development
  • Experience with a consumer-facing app and ecommerce or retail shopping
  • Hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area
  • Experience with accessibility best practices and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
