Position Overview:
This position is for a Cybersecurity Technical Administrator who will support the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team. The role involves providing ongoing services to maintain various applications. Primarily, this position can be executed remotely, with occasional on-site requirements. The responsibilities encompass a comprehensive range of cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, configure, and oversee Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions such as Splunk and/or Elasticsearch within the Cyber Incident Response Team.
  • Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities to computing assets, develop rules and filtering methods for risk assessment, and ensure accurate reporting to the SIEM solution.
  • Collaborate with teams to uphold web application security standards, address identified vulnerabilities, and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Analyze and respond to Cyber Tasking Orders, validate security measures, and recommend improvements to technical security settings.
Engage with stakeholders to convert technical goals into actionable requirements, interact with Cyber Security Service Providers, and coordinate with customer ISSOs/ISSMs.

Required Skills:
STIG, IAVM.

Essential Qualifications:
1. CompTIA Security+ certification
2. IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
3. Baseline DoD Instruction M certification (typically Security+ CE).
