Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a Pediatric CVICU Nurse, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill children and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage complex medical equipment and technology.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- At least 6 months of RN experience in a pediatric intensive care unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds.
