Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing evidence-based care to help patients achieve optimal function and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical function and mobility, and use this information to inform treatment decisions.
  • Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and improve function.
  • Develop and implement home exercise programs to help patients achieve optimal function and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with ECHN's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
  • Ability to travel between multiple work sites and access to reliable transportation.
