Role Overview

The Electrical Reliability Team Leader at INEOS Battleground Manufacturing Complex is tasked with overseeing the safe operation, upkeep, and enhancement of the Electrical Distribution System (EDS). This pivotal role is responsible for the management of various voltage distribution systems, including 138kV, 69kV, and 12470V. The leader will provide expert guidance in the maintenance and operation of the electrical distribution framework, employing advanced electrical maintenance methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during maintenance operations, championing safety practices across all personnel.
  • Oversee the efficient execution of daily tasks within the Electrical Reliability Department, ensuring proper planning and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate the professional development of team members, including training for EDS Technicians and the Electrical Maintenance Department.
  • Deliver technical support and troubleshooting expertise for medium and low voltage motor controls, UPS systems, and other electrical systems.
  • Manage the Electrical System Model and conduct essential studies such as Arc Flash and Load Flow.
  • Maintain and update EDS procedures and ensure proper documentation in the relevant systems.
  • Participate in internal audits and ensure adherence to industry standards and codes.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or instrumentation maintenance.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or process facility.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using PowerDB and familiarity with SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
