We are currently in search of a full-time Maintenance/Grounds Engineer responsible for ensuring the optimal physical condition of all facilities. This role encompasses various maintenance tasks to uphold the safety and appearance of our centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address maintenance and custodial requests promptly.
  • Execute maintenance and custodial tasks with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Oversee grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and general upkeep to maintain facility aesthetics.
  • Ensure safety for clients, staff, and visitors through necessary actions such as snow removal and salting.
  • Be available on-call for urgent maintenance issues as directed by management.
  • Conduct emergency repairs as required.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a preventative maintenance schedule for all facilities and equipment.
  • Evaluate facility needs and assist in obtaining cost estimates for repairs and upgrades.
  • Perform basic electrical repairs and maintenance.
  • Install and repair flooring materials.
  • Maintain plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Carry out painting and wall repairs.
  • Engage in carpentry tasks, including framing and drywall installation.
  • Regularly inspect buildings and common areas for maintenance needs.
  • Manage maintenance supply inventory.
  • Keep maintenance areas organized and secure.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant education and a minimum of two years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance field.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls.
  • Valid driver's license.
