Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. As a key member of our manufacturing client's operations team, you will oversee a 10-member maintenance and engineering team, coordinate and execute all preventative maintenance activities, and create and maintain the strategic vision of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all activities of the maintenance and engineering staff as they repair, install, and update equipment within the facility.
  • Supervise and coordinate the staff as they troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain plant equipment.
  • Take the lead on preventative maintenance initiatives, improve uptime, and decrease equipment errors/downtime.
  • Create and execute the strategic vision of the department, develop plans and budgets, complete staff scheduling, and conduct training.
  • Lead and complete various capital projects.
  • Inspect facilities periodically to identify problems and create weekly maintenance schedules so work can be allocated.
  • Work in collaboration with our leadership team and develop the maintenance budget.
  • Monitor the inventory of materials, replacement parts, and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing facility is required.
  • Must have 5+ years of leadership experience within a maintenance department of at least eight employees.
  • Must have experience troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Must have strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and MRO duties.
  • Must have knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of budgeting and performance management.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
