Job Summary

This position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of a renewable energy plant, ensuring efficient production and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Diagnose and correct adverse conditions and malfunctions
  • Respond to alarm conditions and restore operational capacity
  • Adhere to company health and safety requirements and participate in regular audits
  • Maintain administrative records and support contractor work
  • Operate vehicles on undeveloped terrain

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrument control systems
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous military experience
  • Technical degree in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with gas compression and/or transportation

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The employee must be able to:

  • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and background check
  • Use hands and fingers to handle objects and tools
  • Reach and hold objects
  • Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Hear conversations in noisy environments
  • Lift objects up to 50 pounds

The employee will work in a moderate to loud noise environment and be subject to random drug screening. They must be able to work in various weather conditions and be willing to work overtime, including call-outs outside of normal business hours.
