Job Title: Registered Nurse - PCU Progressive Care Unit

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PCU Progressive Care Unit at ChristianaCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to acutely ill adult patients.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized care to patients with a variety of medical diagnoses, including respiratory failure, COPD, acute renal failure, and sepsis.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess, plan, and deliver care to patients.
  • Monitor patients and manage any emergencies that may arise.
  • Assist with the transition of patients to the appropriate level of care, facility, or home.
Requirements:
  • BSN required; ADNs with a commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire may be considered.
  • At least one year of experience in acute care or sub-acute care preferred.
  • BLS required.
