Job Title: Registered Nurse - Wound Care

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team in Elk Mills, Maryland.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients with wounds, ostomies, and incontinence. As a Wound Care Specialist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote healing and prevent complications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive wound care and management services to patients with acute and chronic wounds
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct wound assessments and develop treatment plans to promote healing and prevent complications
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on wound care and management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree
  • 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience, with a focus on wound care and management
  • Leadership experience preferred
