Certified Nursing Assistant

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team in Pipestone, MN. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
- Assist with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
- Obtain and record vital signs, and provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, and provide water and supplements as appropriate
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
