CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Full Time Evenings

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
- Assist with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
- Obtain and record vital signs, and provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, and provide water and supplements as appropriate
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
