We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Services Representative to join our team at the Richmond SPCA. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Schedule appointments and assist clients with appointment flow
  • Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the workspace
  • Comfortably handle and care for dogs and cats
  • Enter data into patient charts with respect to client confidentiality
  • Schedule appointments and provide education and counseling to clients as needed
  • Handle money and complete payment transactions
  • Participate in all required trainings and meetings
Requirements
  • Adaptability in daily routine
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Early morning and evening availability required

Work Environment
  • Rapid pace with limited exposure to potential hazards
  • High levels of noise at times
  • Potential for animal bites and scratches and zoonotic disease

We offer a competitive salary of $17 per hour, 40 hours per week, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, and paid personal leave. Employees who average 20+ hours a week can participate in our 401(k) retirement plan and have access to paid wellness leave. The Richmond SPCA is a qualified employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
