As a Registered Nurse in NICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to newborns, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
Responsibilities- Monitor and manage the health and well-being of newborns, including vital signs, medication administration, and nutritional support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical records and communication with healthcare team members.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association within 12 months.
- STABLE certification preferred.
- One year of experience in acute care, with neonatal experience preferred.
