- Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide range of procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient scheduling and record-keeping, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and follow OSHA and CDC recommendations.
- Manage supply and inventory levels, ordering and expediting supplies as needed.
- Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow.
- 1+ year of chairside dental assisting experience.
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
