The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide range of procedures
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, as well as place and expedite orders as needed
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of chairside dental assisting experience
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
