Paint Department Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Paint Department Manager is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, upholding the company's Mission and Core Values, and creating a positive paint department experience for customers. This role involves generating sales, merchandising products, and supporting the store management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the paint counter and aisles on a daily basis.
- Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice.
- Ensure the paint department meets performance expectations on a weekly basis.
- Provide exceptional customer service, adhering to the S.A.L.E.S process and mystery shop standards.
- Promote and assist in paint department workshops and experiences.
- Stay aware of all promotions and advertisements.
- Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
- Assist in training and developing peers.
- Maintain merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
- Process new shipments and keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized.
- Respond to safety issues.
- Aid customers in locating merchandise and processing special orders.
- Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card.
- Answer customer questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
- Minimum 3 years paint store experience preferred.
- Color matching, sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships and working with customers, and buying experience a plus.
- A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for an extended period.
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
- Lift 65 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
