About the Job

This position is responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting with delegated tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties
  • Collect vital signs and perform phlebotomy duties.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Provide support with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing.
Work Environment

The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments. The ideal candidate must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis, as well as stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.

Qualifications
  • CPR certification is mandatory at the time of hire.
  • Basic knowledge of abnormal vital sign parameters.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer navigation and working knowledge of the Internet.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $18.20 per hour, based on experience. Please note that all pay rates will be determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience.
