Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Texas Roadhouse, we're a people-first company that serves legendary food and provides legendary service. We're looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee both Front of House and Back of House operations and ensure our high standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage Teams: Conduct performance evaluations, coach, and discipline hourly employees to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Recruit and Hire: Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend hourly employees to join our team.
  • Direct Work: Set hours and weekly schedules, assign tasks, and direct work for employees before, during, and after open hours.
  • Drive Sales and Guest Satisfaction: Focus on driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction to ensure a positive experience for our customers.
  • Training and Development: Provide, direct, and schedule Front of House and Back of House training to ensure our employees have the skills they need to succeed.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures, and conduct formal line Taste & Temps.
  • Security and Inventory: Enforce appropriate security measures to maintain the safety of our employees and guests, and manage food, supplies, and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory.
