POSITION SUMMARY:
This role provides essential support to Loan Processors while collaborating with Loan Officers, Branch Management, and Personal Bankers.

The incumbent will assist in establishing Customer Information Profiles for lending clients and will facilitate account openings in conjunction with Personal Bankers.

Responsibilities include addressing inquiries related to lending customer accounts, processing loan payments and advances, and aiding in the organization and assessment of electronic loan documentation.

The position emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service through friendly, professional, and efficient interactions with clients and external partners.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


Ensures high-quality customer service and maintains a positive and professional image for the Bank by effectively managing all customer requests and fostering professional relationships with external associates.


Assists in collecting initial documentation to create Customer Information Files (CIF) and opens the CIF in the relevant system. Collaborates closely with Personal Bankers for the establishment of deposit accounts linked to lending clients.

Supports Loan Processors in reviewing and collecting OFAC data as required.

Processes all loan payments and proceeds checks, engaging with branch loan processors and clients visiting the loan center directly.

Monitors the Remote Deposit Report daily for proceeds checks.

Submits advance requests to Loan Servicing as directed.


Occasionally requests the boarding of loan documents as instructed by Branch and Loan Center Loan Processors, adhering to established procedures.

May assist Loan Processors in perfecting collateral as directed.


Creates and maintains electronic loan files promptly by sending loan documents and credit file documentation for indexing.


Ensures timely delivery of mail to the post office and manages deliveries between the Bank and Loan Center as needed.

Assists in Collateral Tracking as directed by Loan Processors.

Performs additional duties as assigned.


Supports Loan Center Operations, including coordinating schedules to ensure adequate staffing during business hours, answering phones, greeting clients, and fulfilling other responsibilities as delegated by Loan Processor Supervisor and Loan Servicing Supervisor.


CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION:


This position is designed to provide accurate and timely work related to processing loan payments and assisting Loan Processors while adhering to established policies and procedures.

The role demands the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.


The incumbent must be capable of working under tight deadlines and during high-volume periods, which may necessitate overtime as required.

The ability to work independently and self-direct is essential, along with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multiple Loan Processors.

The incumbent will be attentive to customer needs and loan processing requirements.

Travel between locations may be necessary.

The individual must possess the ability and willingness to cross-sell all Bank products in a professional manner.


Sound business judgment is crucial when addressing customer inquiries, loan advances, and related issues, either through appropriate action or referral to a supervisor.


POSITION CONTACT:
Regular interaction with Loan Processors and Loan Servicing Supervisors regarding daily workflow.

Occasional communication with Insurance Agents, Title Company personnel, and clients to address inquiries and collaborate with external associates.

About You:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred 3 years of experience in banking, finance, accounting, or a lending environment.

High School diploma or GED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong typing, word processing, and 10-Key skills.

Essential accuracy in financial calculations.

Must be organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of multitasking in a customer-focused environment.

Strong time management abilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office setting with frequent sitting, occasional standing, twisting, bending, and lifting (up to 35 lbs).
