HR and Safety Generalist for Partners Professional

At Partners Professional, we are seeking a highly skilled HR and Safety Generalist to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to leverage their expertise in human resources and safety management.
About the Role
- The Human Resource and Safety Generalist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as implementing effective safety programs to maintain OSHA regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- This role will involve working closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to improve the Safety Program and reducing accidents and material losses.
- The generalist will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding hourly personnel through the most efficient means, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including OSHA requirements.
- Implement effective safety programs to maintain OSHA regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to improve the Safety Program.
- Reduce accidents and material losses by participating in our captive insurance risk control program.
- Recruit and onboard hourly personnel through the most efficient means.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with HR-related regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to employee data, payroll, and benefits.
- Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and external partners to resolve issues and provide support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Management and Safety roles.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using PC software applications, including Microsoft Office.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
